Hi, my name is Yiyi Zhang (Pronouced "E-E"). I am a dentist practicing in beautiful London, Ontario. I moved to London with my husband in 2014 after I obtained my dental degree from University of Alberta in Edmonton. We are proud to call London our home ever since! We have a little boy who is a fun curious 6 year old.
I recognize the importance of a patient - centered dental care experience, which inspires me to create strong and long-lasting bonds with each of my patients. It’s a privilege to continue to serve the community of London by providing quality dental care through evidence based advice and responsible diagnoses and procedures.
I would like to share my passion and knowledge about dentistry through this website.
I love to spend quality family time outside of dentistry. I enjoy crafting, painting and learning how to play musical instruments. I also enjoy leisure walks in the forest with my son and husband.

First, I like to understand my patients' goal: whether it is preventative, maintenance, cosmetic, emergency or orthodontic; this will allow me to assemble my skillset to meet my patients' need.
My patients appreciate the warmth, professional integrity, and open communication that define my dental practice. I believe it is my responsibility to help my patients understand their own health so they can be well informed when making important health decisions.
I value the consistency in care of my patients and the relationships I form with each patient. I believe that goes a long way in improving their health care outcomes.
I was raised in a family of educators which lead to my belief in the power of knowledge. I like to empower my patients by education and encourage preventive care. I would also like to be a life-time learner myself as I understand the revolving world of technology in dentistry. I am committed to stay up to date to the latest knowledge in dentistry to better serve my patients.

Got invisalign completed and could not be happier with the results. Dr. Yiyi and the whole team were knowledgeable and professional. They answered all of my questions and walked me through every step of the way. I am so happy with my end results and would highly recommend!
I just have to say this clinic is by far the best! The staff is so friendly and welcoming! And Dr. YiYi is so amazing! I have huge anxiety and fear of seeing a dentist, so much that I waited years and years TIL I was in excruciating pain!!!! A friend referred me to Southwest Dental and am I ever glad she did!! I have a long way to go to get over the fear and anxiety but I am hopeful now that I will overcome it! And it’s thanks to Dr. YiYi for her kindness and caring ways. She truly puts you at ease.
